What are the different regions of Germany famous for?

I been interested in the Holy Roman Empire and learned about the each powers in the HRE before their dissolution. Even then the region still kept their own power and significance.

I am curious about what each German region are famous for in both historical and modern

Those regions are Bavaria, Swabia, Lorraine, Franconia, Saxony, Brandenburg etc.
