Why would a package from Ebay take so long to arrive from the US even though I live nearby?

I only live five hours from the town in Utah but for some reason it’s taking almost two weeks to get here to me in Las Vegas. I’m thinking it has something to do with the shipping carrier the seller used, which is DHL ecommerce.
I’m not worried yet about delivery, the arrival date is still five days away.
