Are you concerned that the children at the US Mexican border need vaccinations?

I’m noticing that since Biden became POTUS conditions (living conditions) seem calmer. I haven’t seen any toddlers on the videos and the children are having a great time playing games outside instead of being cooped up. Do you also think we need to get the children vaccinated for Covid , though, when sleeping so close together?

One would hope that is the direction it is headed !
Nope. They’ll get the vaccine in due time.
No.
First of all the vaccinations aren’t approved for people under 16. It’s not even a consideration to vaccinate them.
Secondly, children rarely get severely ill. I hope the staff at the facilities are vaccinated and the children are in pods so if one gets sick only a certain number are likely to catch it. The staff should also be assigned to certain areas and not going to many different departments if it’s a large facility.
@Aster What concerns me most is that this horrible situation was
allowed to HAPPEN! With the wall and cclosed borders it neverr could!
@si3tech You make it sound like there is an easy answer. Many of these people are in very scary circumstances in their countries. Would you send your child across a country or two if your life was good in the country you live in? Do you think there is no covid in their countries? Do you think they aren’t living in close quarters in their countries?
I’m not saying Biden is doing everything right or that Trump did everything wrong. I’m just saying you make it sound black and white and it isn’t. Where is your family from and how did they get here? So lucky for you if they came here educated and with money and not in a desperate circumstance.
@JLeslie There WAS an easy and permanent preventative measure. Who ordered this DISASTER? Who did this! Huh? Be specific!
