Is there a way of leaving Facebook?

Asked by LostInParadise (32169points) April 22nd, 2021

There is some material that someone I know posted on Facebook, but in order to read it, I have to join. I don’t wish to have a Facebook account. Can I join temporarily, download the material, and then quit?

1. Yes, you can join, download the material, and close your account in 5 minutes flat.
2. Contact this person and demand that the material be shared in a way that isn’t so disgusting. There are endless ways to share material, and Facebook is not one of them.

Was that info posted on his wall, for his contacts to read? If so, ask any of your friends to copy paste it for you on mail. If that info was privately sent to you, tell that person you don’t use FB and ask him/her to send that to you on mail. Why go through the joining-quitting process?

@AK‘s solution seems easiest.
