What delightful things have your kids (or grandkids) done recently?

Well, I told a few stories about my younger son in that thread so I won’t repeat them. My latest amusement is that my 4 year old granddaughter is showing great resourcefulness during the lockdown and was playing tag with the roomba when I Facetimed last week.
Oy! Don’t get me started! A famous one about my older son was when he was maybe 6 or 7 we asked if he would like to go to day camp one summer. He said that he’d prefer sleep away camp because that would be at night and he’d miss us too much if he was away during the day!
When we moved, back in March, we got down to boxes that kids could carry. Rick had backed the U Haul up to the front porch. The kids ages 13 down to 5, created an assembly line and 7 year old Zoeyb named herself Foreman. She was closest to the truck. The kids would hand them off to her and she’d pass them to dad/grampa.
“Alrighty! Keep those boxes comin! Get them to me! Chop chop! Hurry up now! Nooooo chit chattin!”
Recently? How about consistently? My two year old grand son thinks he owns my phone, because I let him use it to watch kiddy You Tube vids. But if it rings or someone texts me, he rolls over on top of it, and I have to tickle the little turd to get him off of it, while he yells, mine, mine, my phone! Oh yeah? I have a news flash for you, pal!
She got her covid vaccine
What does it do to a kid to hear himself called a little turd?
Please don’t jump to conclusions. I didn’t say I call him that in front of him. Please read the post. I call him PAL. @Jeruba
Grand daughter (23 years old) got her COVID-19 vaccination just before lunch with her boyfriend, they went for tacos after ! LOL
A nephew is as about as innocent as one can be. One Christmas morning, whilst playing with his newly unwrapped toys, he asked, “Aunt Pied, are you a parent or a child?”
Once, I tucked him in bed for a nap. Whilst reading a story, he glanced over at the dresser, and his eyes grew wide. “I didn’t know that my mother was a princess!” It was a photo of my sister in her wedding gown.
