What are your go to films and TV shows for sure laughs?
I’m interested in discovering new ones. I’m stuck with South Park, Family Guy and some Jim Carrey films and Melissa MaCarthy films. Thanks.

Not to everyone’s taste, but I was always tickled by the Pink Panther movie series, with Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau. Some of them are available for free, I think, on You Tube. One of the funniest of those films, part of the series but with out “Pink Panther” in the title, is “A Shot on the Dark”. Which features Clouseau up to his usual antics trying to solve a murder. I also like F Troop and Gilligan’s Island. The slap stick action between Gillagan and Skipper.
My go to is It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. I usually have that playing on my phone when I cook dinner.
I’ve seen every episode multiple times.
Designing Women
Big Bang Theory
Everybody Loved Raymond
The Nanny
Mike and Molly
I love Oggy and the Cockroaches :D
I love Pink Panther too.
Other than that, my type of movies leans more on the existential drama type. There’s a reason I don’t go to the cinema if given a choice.
^^Still working on my comic book script believe it or not. It went up to 75 pages. Lol At least 48 colored pages so far. No lettering yet. Re Oggy and the Cockroaches, I’ll look for it thanks.
@JLeslie My Mom loved Raymond and so did I but only watched while she was watching as well.
@Nomore_lockout Yes thanks. I’m ready to revisit The Pink Panther again.
@Jonsblonde It’s high time for me to check out It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, thank you.
Try “The Dick Van Dyke Show”. It’s available on YouTube. Incredibly dated, yet still hilarious.
For movies, I always enjoy
The In Laws (the original with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin)
Little Miss Sunshine
Borat
Superbad
Fargo
Sideways
Little Miss Sunshine, Fargo, Superbad and Sideways are quirky comedies but they make me laugh every time.
@Pied_Pfeffer Thank you. Will put that in my YT queue.
@jca2 I like Falk and Arkin and somehow missed that they did a movie together. Will definitely see it now.
Seen all the rest of the films you mentioned and all are truly great comedies if you ask me.
In that list, Sideways happens to be on the top of my list. I own it on Amazon and I think I also have the blu-ray. I watch it several times a year.
I want to contact the writer and director Payne and tell them it’s time for a sequel, man!
“Burn After Reading” was hilarious. I could watch that again.
I’m watching “Malcolm in the Middle” just now. It never fails to make me laugh.
@mazingerz88: The In-Laws is classic! Late 1970s NY, really cool.
Grimsby
The first scene of Full Metal Jacket.
Right now I’m watching “Mad About You” on Prime. They did a new series of 12 episodes and I am working my way through the 7 older seasons. I find their chemistry and humor hilarious.
@jca2 I haven’t thought about the movie the Inlaws in years. I thought that movie was hysterical. I wonder if my husband has seen it.
@JLeslie: It’s so classic. The lines are so classic.
Ruthless People

A Night at the Opera and The Gods Must Be Crazy get me every time!
