Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24886points) May 22nd, 2021

Do you use the 1, 1000, 2, 1000 , 3, 1000 method?
Or do use another method?

I’m rebellious, when it comes to my teeth, so I just estimate it!

Easy. Zero seconds.

Mouth wash has dubious efficacy at best. No dentist here recommends it unless you’ve actual gum disease that needs treating.

Easy. Just use the same method you used to time your brushing. Thats the important bit. And @Kropotkin is right Listerine only invented mouthwash as thing so they could sell a failed floor cleaner / gonorrhea treatment.

I have a bathroom wall clock with a second hand.

@Lightlyseared Listerine cured me of my gonorrhea.

I count to 40.

If you swish the mouthwash long enough, it turns into foam and you can’t swish it anymore.

@LostInParadise I set my microwave timer for 45 seconds. Gives me 15 seconds to get ready in the bathroom.
