If you could be the CEO of any company what would you pick?

I would pick Hasbro, because they own D&D and I would like to contribute to edition 6, and beyond.

CBS.
I would fire Kurtzman and his cohorts, cancel all of the current and planned “star trek” series and films, remove all the series and films from 2009 to now from official canon, and put someone in charge of the franchise that actually knows and respects it, like Bryan Fuller or Ronald D. Moore. Fuck, I would even take Rick Berman back if I had to.

I’ll trust @ragingloli with CBS & Star Trek, while I take Disney and do something similar for Star Wars. Episodes VII though IX were all a terrible nightmare.

Apple. I would make some changes.

I only want to be CEO for an hour and collect the salary. Just about any Fortune 10 company would work.

The one who’s about to let their CEO go with a nice 6-figure severance package for incompetence.

I’ll never work again. No, really — I’ll never work again.

Amazon, in a scenario where Jeff Bozos disappears and all his wealth is transferred to me.

I would: raise the wages of my employees to a level where they could easily buy and own a home.
Offer them a complete college education for their children and themselves if they wanted it.
Give them completely covered health care.

For the employees who had been injured, caught Covid, or otherwise harmed by Bozo’s policies, I’d offer them a package that allowed them to retire in comfort for the rest of their lives.

I’d also approach the small businesses who had been displaced by Oligarchazon, to see what I could do to assist them.

I almost forgot: I’d take down those paywalls at WaPost.com! ;-D

One where they have somebody in mind to replace me, but for some reason is not yet available. I’m not good for much of a future at this point, but I would give a temporary opening my best efforts.

One with no more than two employees. In fact, two might be too many.
