What makes questions hard to understand?

Asked by flo (13313points) June 17th, 2021

When might someone say “I don’t even understand the question, never mind having the answer”? Could it be in a discussion about any subject, or is it just highly academic things? Things like brain surgery or astronomy? What are some examples?

A question could be about any subject that any person doesn’t understand or know about, and there are a number of factors that could make a question hard to understand besides just subject matter.

I vote we give up on this question since the mods apparently made you change it and it’s kind of strange now.

2)I didn’t change my question. My question was something like “Could it be about any question that some people say “I don’t even understand….” It was in editing for spelling, I corrected them, and it got on back in circulation.
2)I never flagged any post as “unhelpful”.
