When judged under the criterium of realism, which fictional spies are the worst?
For example:
Austin Powers, James Bond, or Harry Tasker.

What about James Coburn – “star” of the Flint series (our Man Flint, among others), which were themselves parodies of James Bond.
And then Don Adams in the Get Smart movies and TV show, which was hilarious for its time.
They’re all bad.
Having said that – Connery was the best Bond and Pierce Brosnan was the worst.
The least realistic is Mrs Emily Pollifax a widow and senior citizen who decides one day to leave her comfortable apartment in New Brunswick, New Jersey and join the CIA thinking Red China was a set of dishes.
George Smiley OBE is the most realistic. His creator, John le Carre knew what he was talking about as he worked for MI5 and MI6.

Going to go with Bond. Just rewatched Skyfall last night. I love that movie because of Roger Deakins, but there were countless situations where any normal human would have died.
The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Hands down. Even though I always like the TV show and film spin offs

@kneesox he’s in the running, but Brosnan was embarrassing.
Of the Bonds, Roger Moore was easily the worst.
