What's a good topic for my essay?

The ethics of academic dishonesty. How, and why, it hurts the student in the long run.

Pick up a newspaper or news magazine and I think you’ll see a lot of choices. Climate change, environmental protection, voting rights, covid restrictions, homelessness, corporate greed, tax breaks for the rich, obscene pharmaceutical profits, insurance industry, gender discrimination, Me Too, and much more.

And that’s just current controversies. There are plenty more in history if you want to stay out of the mess that’s essentially politics right now.

Argue the feasibility of battery operated cars and how their ranges are positive or negative as compared to gasoline powered cars. Consider trade in values, fueling issues, dangers involved with accidents.

If you like the abortion idea, I remember I did a Q on whether a man should be financially responsible for a baby he wanted to have aborted. If the couple had used birth control and had an understanding they would not have children. Some men think they should be able to force a woman to go through with a pregnancy. That if they don’t want an abortion the woman should not be allowed to get one.

Other topic ideas:

Maybe something along the lines of so much much shopping now being done through Amazon and is such a monopoly a problem.

Are patents on medications ethical? What about patents on health tests like the BRCA gene or some heart disease markers.

Lying flat. And for the mods searching for an excuse to eliminate this answer, might I suggest you look it up.
