What are the penalties for giving out money or food to the homeless in your city?

There are none that I’m aware of. I hand out spare cash to homeless people at times. Not much but all I can do. Why the heck would people be penalized for that? Has society sunk that far down into the dregs?

I don’t know of any here either. I do it when I can as well.

No penalties here as far as I know. I always keep a couple bucks within easy reach to hand out when I can.
