Have you ever discovered, that you have been a member much longer than you had thought?

I was flabbergasted to find I have been a jelly for ten years. I know it was me, because it was my old user name of No_More Y!A. No one but myself ever used that handle.

No, I pretty much remember when I joined.

I guess I forgot because it has been an off and on thing with me. As opposed to being here steadily for an X number of years, with no hiatus.

I will always remember the year I joined, because it was the year that my daughter was born. I had fleas in the house with a newborn baby, and was really stressed out, and googling for assistance and answers.

Yeah. I only noticed you in 2016. And back then I thought that was the day you first joined, and you were a new member to me back then. I was actually shocked that you know more about the site than me :)

No, this site has a bit of a special meaning to me, and when I joined in 2012, the world was very chaotic. After taking hiatus a few times, when we lost a few important jellies, I decided I wouldn’t leave again for an extended amount of time because I actually care for a few people here a lot.

I know when I joined, but I look twice when I add up the years. Thirteen years on Fluther!!??!!

Just checked it: it’s been 44 years already.
I thought it would be close to 15 years, so I am definitely a bit off.
