Girlfriends, boyfriends, spouses, friends: will you lose your loved ones to Rock Band 2 this weekend?
Have your loved ones been counting the days until RB2 is released? Have they completely blocked off the 14th for RB and RB only? Do they already know what songs they want to play the most? Will you miss them? When do you expect to get them back?

I unfortunately can’t afford RB2, BUT if I was getting it I would be lost to the world. But my wife plays too so at least I got that going for me.
I play too, just not quite an enthusiastically as some people I know.
I don’t know which is worse…Rock Band or fantasy football?
@Nimis, fantasy football…
You can actually get so drunk that you have to stop playing Rockband. I know for a fact, that no matter how drunk some people get, they won’t shut up about fantasy football.
Anyway, I’m waiting for it to come out. Awesome. No one’s going to be mad I’m playing except my dog. She hides under the table and only comes out to be petted in between songs.
Having Rock Banded at my most inebriated, I must disagree with that assessment of the game.
My daughter’s friend brought his xbox360 and Rockband over to “play” on our 52” TV yesterday. He lugged in the drums, the guitar and microphone and I’m thinking “what the..?” He talked me into playing and we spent the ENTIRE day playing and switching instruments. I had never seen anything like it before. It was hysterical!!! He left it for my daughter and I to play with today (blushing).
It’s sooooo fun. We’re playing RB2 RIGHT NOW. There are five of us, so I’m out at the moment. SO FUN.
My daughter is practicing drums in the background right now! She is actually pretty darn good. My throat is sore from yesterday’s “singing”, so I’ll have to do guitar today, since I’m not coordinated enough for anything but EASY on the drums.
