How does KITT from Knight Rider compare to a modern tricked out car?

In real life comparison from KITT to a real luxury car?

I mean, it was a TransAm with Artificial General Intelligence. The AGI alone makes it a game changing technology. It was also FULL self-driving, something we’re probably a decade away from still despite billions invested. And not self-driving just in perfect weather in controlled situations, but FULL self-driving.

It was preposterously fast while maintaining good handling on the road…which is largely impossible. F1 cars have giant aerofoils on them to create downforce and even they are only really effective on PERFECTLY smooth surfaces. The slightest bump and they would launch into the stands killing hundreds.

It also, IIRC, was completely bulletproof without any visible armor. It was able to jump without a ramp implying some kind of downthrust thing under the chassis like a harrier or F35. I don’t even remember alot of the others.

No car has any of that.
