Why are volunteers, and interns, exempt from minimum wage laws?
I worked for free after high school part time at a store. Sweeping and mopping and reloading movie tags. Eventually I was given $6.50/hour for full time work at graveyard shifts at a 24 hour convenience store. I was greatfull for the work.
Is it a problem? It solved my no experience problem.
