Because they sick?
Spitting fax, this guy.
You don’t mean it literally of course. But I’m glad they do, otherwise, I might end up with COVID. Editted for spelling.
@flo…by the time they get to the hospital they’ve already infected others.
@flo What do you mean it changes nothing?
@flo So they take beds and care away from children and persons who would have liked to be vaxxed, but can’t. No, that is not OK.
If they didn’t go to hospital even more people would get infected, so it’s better that they go to hopital, than if they didn’t go.
I think the best solution would them just staying home, and die.
They opened this can of worms, so they should lay in it.
Because it’s a hoax until it happens to them.
@flo If they are ill enough to be in hospital, they are not running around infecting the community.
Because they are, in fact, LEMMINGS!
They didn’t buy health insurance through the Afforable Care Act, for philosophical reasons. So now they wait for us to pay for them.
Ignorant rapacious predatory slime.
I have been totally unable to find affordable health insurance through the exchange. The cheapest is $800 a month.
But no worries. If I get hospitalized for any reason YOU won’t pay for it because I don’t qualify for state insurance. I’m not old enough for Medicare so I don’t qualify. I’m poor enough to qualify for Medicaid but I don’t have kids so I don’t qualify.
I’ll just file bankruptcy.
They’re fuckwits with a recent proven history of making bad decisions. It’s hardly surprising that catching COVID doesn’t change that.
They are ill enough to need to be in the hospital, but some choose to stay home, recieve visitors who also don’t believe that COVID is real, and so more people get infected in the home and more still get infected outside (after their visits.)
That’s their own dumbass fault @flo.
…to continue responding to _they are not running around infecting the community, they don’t need to e outside the house to spread it, there is their family and friends and workers who will do the spreading.
No, @flo, they don’t “receive visitors” when they’re that ill. And they have already infected the people in their sphere of influence. I hate the thought of them taking a bed from a child or someone (like my niece-in-law) for whom the vaccine is contraindicated due to multiple medical issues.
You are woefully misinformed about how all this works.
They would infect the ones who they haven’t already infected.
No, @flo, they are much more contagious before they become bedridden, they have already infected all those they would infect.
I consider myself blessed (so far) since my job allows me to work from home. On those few occasions I have to venture from home (supermarket…pharmacy…etc) I can’t help but wonder about the people I see around me proudly strutting mask free. I mean, though it’s not MANDATED they wear a mask aren’t they the LEAST bit concerned about catching or passing on the virus?
(Apparently not.)
These are potentially the people displacing hospital beds like they’re entitled to immediate treatment once they become infected.
(Oh…I forgot…they are entitled.)
@SABOTEUR That is exactly how I think! Move your loved one out that is just suffering from a heart attack and give me the bed!
I saw on the news this morning that a 16 year old was very, very ill from Covid, in the hospital, barely able to breathe and his mom says, “well, I will maybe think about getting the vaccine now.” Maybe. Take your kid home and take care of him there and stop taking up hospital beds that are for the righteously sick. <rant over>
@Dutchess_III Move to Canada as soon as the first symptom.
My son emigrated to Sweden and when he had a very serious stroke, they saved his life and have supported him ever since, at no charge. He is currently living in Ireland on disability there
Because they realise that sticking your head in the sand doesn’t protect you from being bitten in the ass.
@YARNLADY….I won’t leave my kids and grandkids.
Is this a rhetorical question?
Because they can and it is the best place to go.
Aside from the hypocrisy of it all, some people never learn or simply put the burden of their own beliefs and uninformed self on others.
