What should one leave in a locker at the gym/swimming pool, and what shouldn't leave?
I would like my credit card to buy from the vending machines, and to take a cab home in case I get injured and need a taxi. I need my smartphone to sign up for my reserved time.
What are your habits? What do you being and don’t bring?

Part of it depends on if you have a lock and are going to lock the locker. I go to the gym in my car so I leave my valuables in the car and not in my locker.
@janbb I walk two blocks from my apartment. I don’t have a car
The point is more about locking the locker though.
@janbb I can rent a locker with lock for $0.50. I am Just wondering what is too valuable to put in a locker and what to leave on me or leave at home?
Lock overnight or lock just for the short time you are there?
If it is only while exercising, lock:
– house key
– ID or drivers license
– towel and soap
– clean clothes
– outdoor jacket if it is cold enough
NEVER bring your wallet into the gym and never put it in the locker.
If you are talking overnight, then you can leave:
– deodorant
– soap
– razor
but nothing else.
i used to bring my debt and Id card and keys, change of shoes etc but as for the debit card hid it between the lining of my shoe.
Even with a key some got robbed.
It varies and certainly has changed since Covid
I don’t spend a lot of time at the gym outside of what my routine that visit will be.
Gone are the days of a full bag with change of clothing, swim goggles, racquets, shower needs etc. I get in and get out now. I went over a year without a membership for the first time since I was a personal trainer/instructor in my early 20’s.
Car key, Gym ID, water bottle, street shoes, spin shoes(if needed), yoga mat(if needed).
I shower at home after, I don’t buy anything at the gym, Racquet sports, volleyball, swimming, sauna, steambath, jacuzzi are not in my routine now due to Covid.
