Can I download a Kindle reader to my computer?

I have more than one Kindle device, but I thought I could also download a Kindle reader from Amazon that would let me read from my Kindle library on my laptop. I’ve been wandering around Amazon trying to find that, without success. Can you tell me what to do?
Thanks.

Download the Kindle App. That should do it.
I agree with the answer above. Download the Kindle App.
@SergeantQueen found a good one. You can also go to the Microsoft store and look for one assuming you’re using a Windows machine. Apple has an app store, and you can look for it there as well.
The Kindle app is what I was looking for, I think, and I couldn’t find it. Am I missing something obvious? I don’t know my way around apps at all.
Did my link work? It said for PC Windows/Mac but I did not try it.
I’ve used the first one suggested by @SergeantQueen on my PC for years with no issues. On my iPhone I seem to recall doing a search in the App Store for “Kindle” and finding the app. I’ve had it for some years, too, so can’t recall the process of installing it but probably once you click on download and, on my phone usually “Get”, a new icon for Kindle appeared on my phone and once clicked the set up was automatic. I use mine almost daily, often multiple times a day with no issues.
You could try going to the Amazon website and seeing if they offer a PC version of their app. Might find a free download there.
@SergeantQueen, I don’t know yet, but I’ll report back. I think that’s the one. I couldn’t find it when I looked around on Amazon. Thank you in any case.
It worked! Thanks. I don’t know why I couldn’t find this, but with your help, I did. Hooray.
