How's the United Kingdom holding up with their shortage of fuel and meat supply?

Due to Brexit, obviously. I heard the Minister of the Interior said there is NO shortage of fuel, and that he supplied lacking foreign workforce with the Army personnel.

there’s nobody on here from England at the moment so you would probably be better off searching in newspapers for the answer as that’s all we would do as well.

I’ve not noticed any shortages in Scotland at all so far. I don’t drive but the garages up here all have petrol and no queuing and my local supermarket is fully stocked. The problem seems more severe in London and the south east and the military will begin delivering petrol (gas) across the UK from Monday.

There is a problem with the supply chain due to a lack of HGV drivers and it isn’t going to be fixed quickly. It takes time to train drivers and European drivers chased out of the country by Brexit might not be in a hurry to come back on a temporary basis.
