May I quote Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor:
“Do not indulge in dreams of having what you have not, but reckon up the chief of the blessings you do possess, and then thankfully remember how you would crave for them if they were not yours.”
Wanting more is a normal part of the human condition. Use what you have better and there is a good chance of being given, or trusted with, more to use in an ever increasing growth cycle.

Change your sadness and desire to buy things into working hard to get a high paying profession. Then make good choices (be frugal, utilize IRA’s, 401K or 403B and other stock market investment opportunities). That’s what has worked very well for me.
Good luck!

It’s a fact: The more you want, the more you get, the more you want. It is a never ending cycle.
@kritiper Actually not necessarily true. I have enough of everything material I need and don’t want more.
I would study minimalism and see why it works for so many people, myself included.
Materialism is a sickness (to me), like hoarding, and can lead you down a path to a lifetime of financial ruin and unhappiness.
Many cultures practiced the ‘giveaway’ like Native Americans, as a path to enlightenment.
@janbb Then you must be an exception.
@KNOWITALL I just read your comment without logging in. It had a big fat ad for Men’s Warehouse under it. LMAO
@Kritiper That’s odd! Haha
Try to by happy for what you have rather than being unhappy for what you don’t. There are many things in life that only you, yourself, can change. We are talking about one of them.
