Why do I remember answering this question a while ago, but I don't see it on this user's question list?

Cindy1302 seems to have just today posted this question about what to do about mold she saw in a school.
I remember answering this question a while ago (a month ago maybe?), but I do not see it on the question list of that account.
The question seems either identical, or at least not to have changed context much. It doesn’t acknowledge that the question was asked before.
I’m not easily finding my answer to the question in my own Response history, but there was a limit to how hard I was willing to look, and how hard I was willing to try on web searches.
So, I don’t want to be rude to an actual new user, but I’m wondering what’s going on here. Was the previous question deleted? Did a different account ask the previous question?

I see a “Hide on profile” option for all the questions in my account. Perhaps she hid it.
The “else” in the subject line suggests there was a previous instance.
I wouldn’t venture to speculate on explanations.
I think it was asked by the same person before and was going to point that out but there is a bit difference in the details at the end of this one. It seems a further discussion of the issue. I don’t know what happened to the previous one – or possibly two.
I just looked under the OP’s profile and couldn’t find it either.
If you responded to it, just look at your responses and keep clicking the arrow to see the older ones. You might click on the number 4 or 5 and see where that puts you as far as the proper time period you think you responded (a month ago), then take it from there with arrowing forward or back. That’s what I do. This is how these websites become a big time suck sometimes haha.
I believe that if a thread is deleted, your replies are gone too.
I remember Auggie saying once that sometimes when the mods have to moderate a thread, they’ll give out some GAs themselves even as the thread is being closed.
Thanks @jca2. I did go back to about page 13 of my responses, doing a search for “mold” on each one and not finding anything in the text summaries anyway… and then I realized I’d already over-invested in finding it.
I had wanted to compare to the previous thread so I could get re-oriented, but again, too much time given my other tasks going on, but then I got curious so I thought I’d try asking here.
No big deal, just curious.
@Zaku Down the rabbit hole, huh? I do that too and sometimes end up spending hours down there! Hate when that happens! 8^0
