If:
R + G = 45
R + 11 = G
What is the value of R and G?

Think about it. You already have one of the values. The rest is easy.
If you had to guess how to do it, how would you do it?
R+ (R+11) = 45
Half of 34 is 17
17+ 17 + 11=45
R = 17
G =28
