Anybody from Southern Wisconsin here and doing okay?
Waukesha. 3 men in a car drove through a crowd at a parade. Ran through kids. as of 11:50pm 11/21/21 5 people confirmed dead and 40+ injured.
I was at work, so I am safe.
Anyone else here from Wisconsin?
I am so shocked.
Only 15mins from me. How could this happen?

Woke up to the news this morning. This is so sad. :(
I read that schools are closed in Waukesha today. The poor kids who witnessed this must be traumatized. I saw a video of a young girl who was so close to being run over.
I am not an advocate for legalizing marijuana, but maybe if it was legal in Wisconsin people would be more chill.
Darrell Brooks, the man responsible has a LENGTHY past of criminal activity. Supposedly was running after a knife fight/stabbing.
Illinois has it legalized, why are there so many shootings in Chicago every weekend? What a stupid and insensitive comment.

DARRELL BROOKS MAY BE RESPONSIBLE. Police have not confirmed why he is a person of interest.

More than two dozen children are in the hospital. The hospital is asking for blood donations.
18 children are being treated. 10 remain in the ICU, 6 of those children are critically hurt and 3 are in serious condition. There are three sets of siblings hospitalized. Ages 3–16.
This is according to my local news just now in Madison.
News conference at 1pm, 20 mins from now. Will watch. I am really upset by this.
