How is someone so stupid as to try to find a hitman online?

Asked by filmfann (52487points) November 22nd, 2021

A website offering hitman services has notified law enforcement of patrons trying to have people killed.
Apparently the rent a hitman site is bogus, and inquiries are reported to the police.
So what is the best way to deter someone from looking online for all their hitman related needs?

Do the offer money-back guarantees? Black Friday specials?

I wonder if the people who seek a professional can choose the means of killing, or if they rely on the contractor’s expertise..

Find a person who has tears tattooed by his eyes. Each tear represents a person he has killed. The person who told me this also said he could find someone to do my dirty work for only $100.

Probably if you ask certain people, they might know a professional or they might know someone who is desperate for money.

My daughter (who knows such things) says people who have spent time in prison have very nice handwriting. Maybe that’s a start.

I check with my Uncle Guido.

Reliability is important, yes, but also discretion, I would say.
As a matter of fact, I do know someone who’s in a, illegal, motor cycle gang.
I think if I’d ask him I probably would be helped further (I assume it would have to be a serious, well thought through question).

Had I not known him, I would go to someone that I know, that I know is on the shady side, and ask if he can bring me in contact with someone that he thinks knows someone that knows someone.
Somehow I think the more people are in between, the better, and the less people are in between, the better as well.
So a nice balance between the two.
Two or three, between the hitman and the client.

I know a guy, that knows a guy . . . . good references from Guido on Federal Hill in Providence Rhode Island. j.k.

@Tropical_Willie that’s my Uncle Guido. He was always available in the back table of Siena’s until they closed.

Isn’t she an actress? Nicole Hitman?

Remember, you get what you pay for.

You want Reliable, you really need to pony up at least 50 Large. All these people who get caught are trying to get by on the cheap.

If I were shopping, I would ask a discreet bookie for a recommendation as to whom their finance people use for collections.
