Is Gort going to be in the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still?

Depends on how much money they offer him, and if he has a good agent.

He’s on one of the posters. He’s also seen for a second in one of the trailers.

If they are true to the book then you’ll see Gnut, not Gort. Somehow “Gnut, Klatu barada nikto.” doesn’t have the same ring to it, though.

I don’t think they could make it without him being in it.

Based solely on the previews that I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem to have much to do with the book or the original movie.
