In the series "Hawkeye", why did the eponymous Hawkeye yell "Come on!", when he removed Ronin's mask and found out it was a girl?
Was he disappointed that he could no longer punch her in the face?

He was shocked and annoyed that she was a “kid”. Later, in E2, he asks if she’s 18. She says she’s 22, to which he shoots back, “Same thing”.
Can anyone tell me why he’s not using a compound bow with an 80% let-off? He could hold and aim longer while delivering arrows at higher speed and energy. I don’t think there are regulations or limitations on superhero archery equipment.

He also does CQC with his bow, so a compound bow would probably easily break.
It also is cheating, and he does not use Jörg Sprave’s “Instant Legolas”, either.
