If you "give your word", how can you be expected to "keep it", if you no longer have it?
In the same vein, how could you give your heart to someone special this year, if you gave it away last year to someone, who gave it away in turn? You no longer have a heart to give away!

This is what pockets are for.
I give it and don’t want it back. If you give it back then i own it again.
I don’t give my word, I keep my word.
Additionally, I don’t give a F$%K, but do give a F%K
And yes, pockets are perfect for this.
I have more words, some even have doubles.
My heart has four rooms, two of which have been used (one still is, the other irregularly so).
@ragingloli Was that “Last Christmas”?
You’re being too literal, obviously. And I could go to the ends of the Earth to prove it.
You give advice, too. Some people have a never ending supply of it…
@ragingloli, it sounds paradoxical because you’re trying to force a literal interpretation on a metaphorical expression.
@elbanditoroso, and as some might say: “Take my advice. I’m not using it…”
I give you my word that this is the only answer I will write on this thread. And I will keep my word.
I’m sorry, have you ever met a phor before?
