If you built a Solstice bonfire to burn up all the broken useless pieces of the old year, what would throw in it?

I wish Covid and Cancer were the biggest flames you ever saw.
@JLoon You said “rise.” teehee!
All the time and heartache I used following the news, which I have no control over.
I did build one.
Old photos and memorabilia of broken things from past. Happy to report there were no books or animals harmed.
The January 6th attempted coup.
I’d make a hell of a bonfire from used, discarded masks.
All the world’s litter plus Brexit.
Covid and cancer and stories about the election being stolen and stories about Covid “being nothing more than a cold so why are we up in arms about it?”
I’ll roll with the flow. Can’t change the course of history, as much as we’d like to. Keep calm, and muddle thru. If things get really bad, there is always the Pan American Highway, with a wrong turn into Amazonian jungles.
Humanity in the civilized world matured a little more than normal last year. It’s hard to see but it did happen. Locally, opioid addiction has spread dramatically. I’d like to see that burn.
