Does anyone have a copy of the map our friend johnpowell made a long time ago?

One thing I liked about Ryan’s map, is that it put a soccer-loving sociopath in the North Sea. :)

I remember it all too well, that map.
But I don’t think I can find it, since it probably was a bookmark in the Opera browser, on my laptop (which is defunct).
I will have a look though through my Chrome bookmarks on my phone.

I think Allie or Dog might have a copy.

I remember the map, but I don’t think I downloaded it, just looked at it from his link. Ryan was supposed to stick around forever.

It was exciting to see all those map points and realize they stood for real jellies in concrete physical locations.

I remember that he was making it but I don’t remember viewing it.

Did he post it here or did he email it to people? If he posted it here, it’s just a matter of finding the post.

Unfortunately, the server (at stfudamnit.com.) that had the map can’t be found.

^^ Oh – that’s why I never saw it. That was Ryan’s separate site where people were not modded. It’s probably not still up.

Yeah, it’s not. And even the Wayback Machine only has images from 2019, where that map wasn’t up:

But there is some archived discussion from before 2019, if anyone cared to dumpster dive in it. At least a little is Fluther-related. But perhaps the mods here would prefer I didn’t assist that sort of rummaging.

After spending 2 hours with me and mucho dinero on my dinner last November 13, the @PoorGuy is broke and has been traumatized by what he thought would be interaction with another “human”! ;-o

^He will go to great lengths to avoid me. He created an entire pandemic to get out of a trip to Hawaii.

I went to the movies in Pleasant Hill at 6:00, and @janbb went to the same theater at 8:00 same day.
I have always been disappointed we didn’t meet.

@janbb Hospitilizations are increasing. It’s just right now it’s well within our ability to care for them.

^^ Got it. Om seems to be spreading like wildfire where I am but I don’t think the hospitals are overwhelmed as far as I know. Vaxx rate for the state just hit 70%.

@filmfann @Caravanfan @Jeruba I’m game! I need to work out the time with the rest of the family. I must be in Pasadena for my grandson’s birthday so I’ll extend the stay, take a quick flight from Burbank, rent a car and spend a few days in your area. Whoo hoo!!!
