If you could only get take out from one restaurant what would you pick?

You can still make your own food and buy your groceries.

Humor welcome.

It’s a toss-up between Cracker Barrel, or Panda Express. my favorite Mexican place.

My favorite was Bullwinkles restaurant and arcade. Great pizza and fried chicken. Lots of arcade games.

IHOP for breakfast, Golden Corral for lunch / dinner.

Meze Meze is a small family run business and their food is fantastic. They do home deliveries too.

Local cheeseburger diner.

Our local Thai restaurant is amazing and the owner is a huge part of our community.

A place called The Old Fashioned. It’s right on the square across from the state Capitol building. They have some of the best fried cheese curds in town and they make the best grilled cheese with roasted red pepper. This is my go to for great comfort food.

Probably a local diner because they have such a varied menu.

The Sirloin Saloon in VT or The Ground Round in FL.

. . .or some ultra-luxurious seafood place on the water.

Golden Corral is a great choice.
How far do you live from your nearest one?

Even though I live in a suburban valley of about 2 million people near Los Angeles, the closest Corral is about 30 miles away.

I would probably pick a diner because of the huge menu and the good prices.

My second choice would probably be Cheesecake Factory because of the huge menu. I live about ten minutes away from one. We rarely go there but it’s a good option for us.

Ooooo! Cheese Cake Factory!!

Nomore_lockout's avatar

@Brian1946 We’re about a 15 minute drive from the nearest one. Can’t beat it with a stick!

I can make Mexican, Italian, and American food, but I haven’t a clue on Chinese or Sushi, so it would be one of those.

I never get take out. I suppose if I have to have one on standby I would get it from one of the great pizzerias around here. We just always eat there and let them clean the kitchen.

Family run Italian restaurant.pizza, strombolis, lasagna, spaghetti & meatballs / sausage, salads, veal dishes and fried mozzarella (scratch made). They’re a twelve minute drive.

Caravanfan's avatar

Uncle Jo’s Sushi restaurant, but only when Jo is the sushi chef.

filmfann's avatar

@Caravanfan My son just told me about Jo’s. He raved about it.

Oh. <<blushes>> I didn’t realize it was supposed to be doable. I’m sure they won’t deliver to me from VT or FL. Soooo. . . I’d probably try Gorat’s Steak House. Apparently it’s Warren Buffett’s favorite steak place, and if he can afford any place and chooses it, it’s good enough for me.
