I liked when he hosted America’s Funniest Video’s.
He was too young to die.
They don’t know why, but know it’s not foul play or drugs.
I read he had a disease that his sister died of 3 years after being diagnosed. Could that be it maybe? But it was so sudden. His last tweet was so sad and no sign anything was wrong.
I don’t know. Just sad.
Full House. I never really watched it when it first aired, but my daughter discovered it on Netflix when she was a kid and watched almost every episode. We even watched the first couple seasons of the revival, Fuller House.
Completely dumb, innocent storytelling, but it was so endearing. I love that there were lots of scenes with Bob where he looked like he was about to lose it and start laughing.
Poor Bob. Much too young to die.
Too young. I was very sorry to hear this news. I never really liked any of his shows very much, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like him.
Reading Stamos’ statement and that Saget was touring, it sounds like an aneurysm or heart attack, but really impossible to guess for sure obviously.
Full house. He had a light touch and a gentle nature.
I used to like “American’s Funniest Home Videos.” It was kind of mindless and silly. My sister, who’s in her mid 30’s used to watch “Full House” and so I watched it when I was visiting there, and my daughter, who is a teen, also liked “Full House” re-runs. Yesterday my daughter came to me and told me Bob Saget died, which I had already heard. I was at first wondering how she knew of him, because she is too young to have watched AFHV which he was on in the 80’s. Then she mentioned “Full House” and it reminded me that she and my sister both enjoyed it, even though they’re over 20 years apart.
@SergeantQueen The news said there’s “no sign of alcohol or drugs” but that doesn’t mean they won’t find drugs to be the cause when they do the autopsy.
I read the autopsy was being done today.
I’d be happy not to find out he was using morphine suppositories.
I’d be shocked if it’s an overdose, but I probably shouldn’t be. It can happen to anyone.
I actually met the guy when I was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas about 20 years ago. He was with a girl that was MAYBE 18. Other than the creepy pedoesque situation, he was approachable and friendly. It is sad he died so young.
@gorillapaws: He had three daughters so it’s possible that the woman you saw him with who appeared to be 18 was a daughter.
@jca2 She wasn’t his daughter. This was at a bar late at night and she was a young Latina.
@SergeantQueen She very well could have been (I didn’t see her id or anything), but she did look young. I’ll leave it at that.
Were they just talking? I wouldn’t assume anything.
Recent article about some suspicions about his death.

It contains EXACTLY what I fear for myself during these covid times. That covid could possibly give me a heart attack, stroke, or some sort of an event involving an embolism. Nothing conclusive has been published yet regarding his autopsy.
One thing that seemed odd to me in the article is they talked about his left arm on his chest. I would think it would be the right.
