I received a gift wrapped in paper with titanic printed all over it.
I found this so amusing I thought it I would share it with you all and see where it goes.
Unfortunately I can’t seem to get the system to post a photo so I’ll see if I can get Dutch to do it for me… Thanks! Let’s have fun with this!

Wow! That’s fascinating! Why wouldn’t I want to wrap a gift in Titanic wrapping paper? Hahaha!
And then my mind got going with all the benefits of having a company with such a name….
Titanic Swimming Lessons!
I have the sinking feeling that this is in poor taste.
The first thing I would do to research it would be to put it in the Amazon search bar and see what comes up.
Zazzle though I don’t see exactly the same pattern.
and I think Archie MacPhee would in theory . . . but does not seem to actually/currently. I think they just have bacon wrapping paper.
I’m in favor of this ad: Cruise Alaska with Titanic Cruise Lines!
@rebbel To the bottom of the sea, apparently.
Are you asking this for fun? Because I can see a very dark implication in this question it has nothing to do with you though.
In my country there seems to be a specific kind of job that requires you to use social media to see what foreigners like and use that as idea proposal for the design team to print out on stuff like T-shirt or mug. I don’t know about the education requirements for this job, but it seems like you have to be invited to work that job. And knowing English doesn’t guarantee that you understand Western culture. Have you ever seen popular cartoon characters turned into horrible toys like this or T-shirt with horrible English like this? My guess is that it has a lot to do with the job.
Ignorance of other characters culture and the quick-money mentality are what leads to your wrapping paper.
My friend told me the other day that she wanted to open an Etsy shop selling wool dolls. And part of her plan was to research the Western scene and see what they like, then implement the ideas into her products to catch up with the trend. She has zero knowledge of Western culture outside of movies and she doesn’t watch that much American movies. She seems to prefer animes. I’m worried where she is heading…
*Ignorance to other culture
Wow @Mimishu1995 that is interesting! You might be right!
And it’s copyright infringement!
