Has anyone ever tried buying high and selling low, in the stock market?
Just to be generous?
Humor welcome.

A billionaire might try a move like that. Perhaps as a tax loss write off or as a way to influence the stock market in some twisted way to get an advantage.
Sure, though not with that intention when the stock was purchased. If a stock’s price is heading downward, it may be time to ditch it and get a tax write-off.
That has been my individual stock strategy. Most of that $ gone now. That’s why I buy mutual funds instead.
