You will be lucky if you get 25.
Even the hijack thread is far shy of a million.
No. Even if you could find enough people, it would take too long for it to load.
Could but almost surely will not, unless some bots get involved.
Mate, you are going to have to come up with a significantly better question if you want a million answers.
Only 999,990 to go.
I’m a little disappointed that you yourself haven’t come to the thread to reply to us (that’d be ten extra answers) yet.
If each of us who consider ourselves Fluther regulars were to post 10,000 answers you’d still fall short.
@Patty +5 for the hijack thread! :D
Sorry but no!!!
I have been answering questions on question and answer sites for over 40 years and have never seen anywhere near a million answers to one question.
I have seen one or two answers which were answered by just over a 100 but that’s it.
The chances of this question, or any question for that matter, getting a million answer are actually millions to one against.
Added to this although I on’t know how many subscribers Fluther has but I doubt it is anywhere near a million.
Even if it did how many of these subscribers would see this question and actually answer? definitely not a million.
Unless someone spams the answer area probably not.
Sort of slowing down… only 999,984 to go
It would be cool if it did though.
I wish there was a notation on questions when they’re moved across categories.
Questions and answers read differently when it’s in General versus Social or Meta. :)

This one is petering out faster than the earlier one.
At least no one has the bad taste to leave a “A bag of dicks” answer.
If we had someone posting an answer on this thread every minute, eight hours a day (no days off), it would take more than 5 years to reach a million answers.
1,000,000 minutes / 60 = 16666.6666667 hours
16666.6666667 / 8 = 2083.33333333 eight-hour days
2083.33333333 / 365.25 = 5.70385580653 years
If we could get all of our ~100 regulars to pitch in, it would take them more than twenty 8-hour days apiece to reach that goal.
2083.33333333 / 100 = 20.8333333333
