Yes about a dozen people have told me about it. Frankly I could not care less.
I wonder what that means….
Check back with me when it’s 2/22/2222.
Nope…I was so busy with my project that i didn’t notice that at all until to mentioned it. Such a historical day and I failed to notice that.
@HP, noting your topic tag: the solution to being bored isn’t to bore other people. It’s to do something that makes you more interesting to yourself and to other people too.
Will always use full dates, so was 02 02 2022 to me.
@Jeruba Well your participation undoubtedly contributes to the alleviation of said boredom. I shall take your wise(?) counsel to heart.
But beware! If you are this readily offended, you present me with opportunities toward the entertainment of us both.
A bunch of ballet dancers told me that while wearing their tutus.
Yup! A friend of mine’s new great grand baby was born on 2/2/22.
Two beloved ex-girlfriends have a Feb 2nd birthday. Thanks, gals, I am sorry I was not marriage material at the time. My loss. I love you.
Which will be more exciting?
2/22/22 @2:22am?
2/22/22 @22:22pm (military time)?
@JLeslie Makes me think of the baby born on 7/11 7:11pm, weighing 7lbs 11oz.
I think 7-Eleven gave the parents $7,111 for the baby’s college fund or something like that.
@raum That’s cool. I never heard that story before.
Yesterday at school, the kids were encouraged to wear tutus, tuxedos, tunics and tube socks. :P
@raum, did the parents take the money to Las Vegas?
Yes. Also we’ll have 2/20/2022 (at least in the US).
The European format, 22/2/22 is a complete textual palindrome.
Yes, I had a friend that got married yesterday just for that reason. She’s hoping it will help her hubby remember their anniversary in the years to come
@SEKA I think she was foolish to pick a date and announce the reason which essentially calls out her husband for failing to meet an obligation that’s all in the future. It’s like she’s taking offense or else making a joke on him in anticipation right from the get-go. I bet she loves to explain that, I bet it makes him a little mad every time, and I wonder if they are going to have very many anniversaries.
No, not really. But onward thru the fog!
