Are Trudeau’s actions being dictated by WEF?
The World Economic Forum has held events over the past few years called The Great Reset and The Great Narrative.
They are calling for the need for global governance and have stated “As we enter a unique window of opportunity to shape the recovery, this initiative will offer insights to help inform all those determining the future state of global relations, the direction of national economies, the priorities of societies, the nature of business models and the management of a global commons.”
Klaus Schwab has openly spoke about penetrating the cabinets of key countries including Canada.
Do you think the WEF should be involved in “penetrating the cabinets of sovereign countries?”
Are the actions of Trudeau in response to the truckers being made independently by Canadian government or is there outside influence making some of these decisions?
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Christina Freeland, is a member of WEF and Trudeau was a Youth Global Leader of the WEF.

Depends on what the WEF’s agenda is like.

As organizations which want to steer policy go, it seems pretty benign and well-intended at first glance – is it not?
@zaku
I can’t quite figure out why, but the fact that they were involved in a Covid response exercise in October of 2019, are calling for a “Great Reset” in which, you’ll own nothing and be happy, and has penetrated the cabinets of most major powers has me a bit skeptical(surprise, surprise).
I believe based on what I have read and watched on weforum.org, that they and their partners, which include most of the major corporations in the world, are pushing for global governance and digital global currency. Build Back Better is not an American agenda, but a WEF agenda in which you can find most global leaders using this phrase. Their own article calls to “Build Back Better” and to reinvent capitalism.
None of these beliefs are taken from anywhere other than what I have found on their own website. None of it is hidden either, its just that many people have no idea this organization exists or that it is as far-reaching into many major governments as it is.
If our politicians are being influenced and making decisions based on this organization, shouldn’t it be well known?
@SquirrelEStuff Build(ing) back better was the name of a UN strategy from 2005 for psot disaster recovery. Build back better is just a catchy phrase that became part of the covid zeitgeist. To claim the WEF is behind every single countries BBB plan is a little delusional, they just jumped on the band wagon like everyone else.
World governments have long been heavily influenced by groups which are not well-known, and the WEF looks like it’s not trying to hide.
And I would say that capitalism should be re-invented, but my concern is that the usual not-well-known string-pullers will also do whatever they can to shape whatever changes are made, as they already have been doing. So they will try to turn any revolutionary movements toward results they want, one way or another.
But that seems to me like probably the WEF is going to be another conversation space where there will be a conflict between actual benevolent thinking, and not-so-benevolent agendas which will try to dress things up as benevolent. I don’t really know about the WEF enough to discern how that’s going, nor do I have enough future vision to have a solid feel for what direction its efforts to influence national governments will end up in.
