Is Mongolia technologically advanced?

Also what is it like being between China and Russia?

No. It is largely agricultural, and for country its size, has a very low population density. A lot of nomadic tribes and groups.

China considered Mongolia part of the Chinese ‘empire’ like it does Taiwan. So while ostensibly Mongolia is indepedendent, it is de facto Chinese.

The way I read about it, it’s pretty much empty.

According to this info, Mongolia is moving up in the tech world. in 2010 they had 200K internet users and in 2016 they had 2.6 million users. Their use of cell phones has increased dramatically as well. I would think that with all the interest, they would have increased their technology significantly.

Now to the 2nd part of your Q, I’d think it’s like being stuck between a rock and a hard place—much like being an only child and having to be referee between Mom and Dad while fighting making it a no win situation

@HP I thought that only the tourist sites that Mongolians lived in Yruts and where all farmers. Thanks for the heads up.
