Is there a book you'd like to read but haven't got around to yet?

Numerous books but one is In Search of Lost Times by Proust.

Several. I’ve had The Guns Of August the longest.

@janbb I read Swann’s Way a few years ago, but haven’t gotten around to reading the others. So that would be on my list too.

I’ve been meaning to read Ulysses for a long time, but I honestly don’t know if I’m ever going to.

^^^^ Like @Demosthenes I bought a copy of Ulysses a couple years back to read for Bloomsday but never got around to reading it.

@zenvelo @Demosthenes I’ve read the first page of Ulysses several times! A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and Dubliners are much more accessible though.

Ok, I admit it, I bought the book, “How to Stop Procrastinating” at least 12 years ago, and finally donated it to a library without reading even one page. True story.

Piles of them. So many I can’t remember most of them.

Yes, hundreds. There may be more unread books here than there are read ones, because whenever I do let books go, they tend to be ones I’ve already finished with.

With many of them, it’s not so much about wanting to read them as it is about wanting to have read them—or just about holding the possibility open.

Pony Express Courtship.

Several. If I can find any copies. “Churchill’s Empire”, and “Our Friends Beneath the Sands – The classic era of The French Foreign Legion”. Always seems like anything I run across that I want to read is out of print. Dammit.

Oh and also “Spartacus”, by Howard Fast. Controversial novel on which Kirk Douglas based his 1961 epic movie.

I’ve been looking forward to reading a lot of books, but haven’t got the time to do so. I think Chanakya Neeti is one of them!

The last books I wanted to read were the 2 Maus books. So I read them.

I have a couple of older novels by John Masters, my favorite author, that I plan to re-read when I get the time, found them both at a local used bookstore. “Bhawani Junction” and “Coromandel!” Busy with soccer try outs and baseball practice for Grands right now.
