What current linguistic oddities will baffle future archaeologists when they stumble upon them?
For example, calling someone the “goat” as a term of admiration.

Greatest Of All Time

Never heard GOAT before. I am a goat :) a Capricorn.
When I was in school calling someone “bad” meant they were cool or good. I think that was short lived.
We say something is “the bomb,” when it is awesome in a good way.
The words “idiot” and “lying” so frequently precede the words “Pesident Trump”, that they will be assumed honorific, some sort of slang terms of admiration like “cool” or “sick”. You have to had lived through Trump to believe the experience. I still don’t believe it.
GOAT = Greatest Of All Times
ROFL = Rolling On the Floor Laughing
Every variation of ^^^
LOL = Laughing Out Loud
kewl = Cool
There are others that I’ve seen & not interpreted properly
There are digital rosetta stones for all of this. Someone just needs to literally carve it in stone.
