Can you add a verse to this topical doggerel?
I think I can say, with out much disputin’
That not much of the world likes Vladimir Putin.
Life is Russia must have having been boring,
So he decided wanted to do a little warring.
Of course there are fools like Donald the Trump,
Who like nothing better than to kiss Vladimir’s rump.
But many sane patriots think with their brains,
And in this fight they take sides with Ukraine’s.
How this will end we don’t know yet,
As Russia reverts to its historical Soviet.
My guess is that Putin is gambling and lost,
But we don’t know yet what this idiocy will cost.
Future historians will write of this decade
About how Putin became the global renegade
In pursuit of the ridiculous illusion
That he can restore the Soviet Union
