Have you ever broken a tooth eating food?
When I was a child I broke a baby tooth biting into an apple.

Two actually. One of my baby teeth in an apple, and one adult on a hard pita pizza.
Yes, from a small piece of clam shell in Cioppino. That cracked a tooth and required a root canal to fix.
I broke a crown on a raw carrot. I was on my way to a meeting where I had to speak. Gahh. It was right next to my front teeth, impossible to hide.
Yes, more than one. It’s awful.
No, but I lost a crown once.
Not yet. But for an apple to break a tooth, your folks must have been quite alarmed.
Yes. Way back molar on (believe it or not) a French Fry.
It’s the teeth construction more than anything, @HP. Genetic.
Yes. I bit into a Jr Cheeseburger from Hardees and the tooth just snapped right off. I’m guessing that I had cracked the tooth previously and it finally decided to crack the rest of the way on that burger. One thing I know for sure was that the burger didn’t break the tooth as it was paper thin. That cheap cheeseburger cost me a fortune in the long run
One time I bit down on a small rock while eating granola breakfast cereal. It split a molar in half. Ruined my day for sure.
Yep,and believe it or not it was while eating potato chips.
@RocketGuy Ugh…same. The sickening crunch of the clam shell. Love cioppino, but now slightly traumatized.
Now I mindfully chew ever so gently. Really miss the days of carefree cioppino-eating.
What the hell is cioppino??
A few years ago I broke one of my molars on a rock hard skittle that had somehow ended up in a package with completely normal skittles. It hurt so fucking bad and really ruined the rest of my vacation in Vegas.
