I’ve been unhappy with my current laptop and had started looking for a replacement. I think I’ve found one but it comes with Win11 preinstalled. If I don’t like Win11, is it difficult to roll back to Win 10? Can it be easily done without having to purchase a copy of Win10?
Oops, forgot, I have a recovery flash drive from my Win10 laptop, will that work on a Win11 laptop?
Sorry for all the questions, but I’ve got to make a decision while it’s on sale for $300 off!

Probably depends on whether:
1) Can you figure out how to defeat the latest version of Microsoft “Smart(ass) Boot”? (Probably so, eventually.)
2) Will Windows 10 have drivers for every bit of hardware you care about on the laptop designed for Windows 11? (Probably so, but you could try researching that.)
Windows 11 is better than 10, you won’t want to downgrade but you can if you really really want to. That crash drive won’t be of any help though.
Yes but I can’t tell you how to do it. You’ll need to research that!!!
Thank you @Blackwater_Park. I’m always nervous with a new version of Windows because they’ve burnt me in the past. I just like knowing that I have the option to revert to the old if I find the upgrade sucks. I knew that I had 10 days after the upgrade to go back, but I wasn’t sure if they extended that to the new factory install version.
The sale was going off at 11:59pm last night and $300 off was so freakin tempting that I ordered it. Picked it up late this afternoon. Still working on setting it up. I have 60 days in which I may change my mind. So far, I’ve not found anything to hate. Now, off to see what I’ve got to do to finish my first day
Thanks again for the kind words
