Navel oranges peeled.
Others quartered.
At what age? In elementary school I’d stick an unpeeled quarter in my mouth to make me have a funny mouth. Then I’d suck it and chew it from there.
Peeled in natural slices.
Cut a small hole in one end then squeeze (and suck) the juices out until the thing starts to split from the hole. Then tear into quarters and eat the flesh off the peel.
I peel the skin off and then separate the sections and eat them one by one.
Peeled then split into segments.
Peeled. Frozen. My favorites are Blood Oranges.
I bit into it like an apple skin and all.
I cut them into eight pieces then rip the meat from the skin with my teeth. Sounds kind of primitive, but that’s the way. I really don’t buy them often; my family prefers satsumas/tangerines/clementines.
I have a knife blade that cuts the outside skin on oranges, than you peel it tback.
Navel oranges – sliced into wedges. Mandarin oranges – peeled then pulled into segments.
