What is a normal amount of insulin to be injected for diabetes 2?

Is 12.5 mm normal for a 250 pound senior?

Isn’t there a prescription? It’s not something to guess at.

@jca2 It was in 1995. I wonder if the homecare nurse, and I, gave the right amount. My grandpa died a hour later.

When I was injecting insulin, I started at 8mm, and ended up near 20 before they changed my medicine. I no longer inject.

@RedDeerGuy1 If the homecare nurse was certified, assume it was the right dose and the death was a coincidence in terms of it being an hour later.

I feel like I know why you are asking this truthfully, and no it’s not your fault.

@jca2 is correct. There is no set amount.
