What common household object have you stepped on that hurt the worst?
Like a thumbtack?
A push pin?
A Lego?

A piece of stray glass that I didn’t catch.
It was so small but it dug into the skin and took forever to get it out.
Plug on a lamp cord on wooden floor.
@Tropical_Willie Two years ago I passed out on my power bar. Woke up twitching and in pain. I broke most of the power cords from my back.
Lego bricks really are the worst
Toothpick. Tacks. Glass. Stickers.
Mine was a tiny sliver of metal. No clue where it came from but it was really, really tiny. Couldn’t get it worked out for myself so I had to break down and go to a doctor. Even he had a hard time finding it and getting it out. Guess I’ll never know from whence it came
I was in a riot once in 1979. I was barefoot. Ran all over the park for hours. The park was packed with stickers which I simply didn’t notice because of the adrenaline. Boy, I noticed it the next day.
Not a household object, but a mussel in Lake Balaton. Twice.
Cut right through my socks and flesh.
A “jack” (miniture caltrop) that was in a shag carpet. Hurt like a motherf——.
I jumped up once, many years ago, and came down on an upside-down metal Pepsi bottle cap. I have no words to describe how badly it hurt.
I had to tell the college guys who lived up stairs to quit throwing their beer bottle caps in the yard!
Another vote for Lego bricks.
Thumb tack.
Broken glass.
We have gum tree spike balls in our yard. Haven’t stepped on one (yet) but I bet they’d hurt!
My brothers foot. To this day my head still suffers severe trauma, and when ever I see his foot I immediately s### my pants and scream “Witness me!” whilst running down the street naked and staining my teeth with silver spray paint.
A little life advice: NEVER step on a siblings foot, you will regret it.
Somehow I stepped on a nail in such a way that it got stuck in my heel. That sucked. Stepped on Legos and glass before too. Legos hurt a lot initially but it goes away. Glass is painful only when you keep walking on it. The cure is to dig it out, which is fun too.
