So many good movies, but my favorite is The Big Chill. I know I won’t ‘miss him’ in the usual sense, but just knowing he’s not here with the rest of us makes me sad. He had some of the kindest eyes I’ve ever seen.
For me there are 2. The Accidental Tourist and Broadcast News. May he rest in peace.
The Big Chill and A History of Violence. Of course, I was happy to see him show up in four Marvel movies as “Thunderbolt” Ross.
The Big Chill or Children of.a Lesser God probably, but he played small parts in a lot of great movies.
Dark City
I Love You To Death
Mr. Brooks
The Marvel films.
The Big Chill & Children of a Lesser God. I found him to be an acquired taste. He wasn’t in my top 10 favorite actors, however he has always been a part of my viewing pleasure. May he RIP!!!
Body Heat and The Big Chill.
@si3tech I’m going to watch that one again!
@chyna: Oh yeah, I forgot about Body Heat.
My wife being deaf, Children Of A Lesser God must rate high in our house. Many conversations between my wife and I are found in that movie.
I really like most of the movies everyone else has listed, especially The Big Chill and Broadcast News. But one performance of his that I think is really underrated is in The Village
^^ Huh! I’ve watched that twice and don’t remember him in it. I mean, he is, I just don’t remember him. Will have to watch it again.
Of course, the last projects were not so significant, but most of all I remember his early projects and when he was at the peak of his career! It is a pity that the best pass away, rest in peace legend!
