Is it possible to retrieve the voyagers space probes?

Retrieve and send back to Earth?

Just for giggles. To keep our presence anonymous?

I would say no, technology isn’t there yet and much too costly.

I’d have to say NO because I don’t know how!!!

Sure. “Just” somehow survive global climate change, the extinction crisis, ocean acidification, GMO proliferation, topsoil loss, fresh water crisis, energy crisis, wars, famine, the idiocy crisis, etc, and increase technology until you “just” have warp drive or other extremely powerful FTL technology, and plenty of extra FTL starships, and “just” send one to fetch them “for giggles”.

Except that’s relatively pointless, because of all the electromagnetic signals we’ve been broadcasting for a century or so.

They are too far out to retrieve and there is no point in it. They were always meant to go beyond our solar system.

Our radio signals go far out but they get feeble and weak when they get just so far out.

Yes, of course. They did it in Star Trek, the Motion Picture.

@Caravanfan – V’ger came back by itself.

@RocketGuy Oh, well it’s been years since I saw that movie and it sucked. So you’re probably right.
