The Wild Bunch is a great choice!
Others that come to mind:
Star Wars
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Mad Max (the original)
The Road Warrior
Quantum of Solace
Shoot Em Up
Every Tremors movie ever, god are those movies good.
Opening scene of “Big Jake,” John Wayne. “I thought you was dead?” “Not hardly!” Great character introduction.
The Big Chill – dressing him, especially pulling the shirt cuffs down over the stitches. Kevin Costner played Alex, the dead friend.
Oh! Also, The Wolf of Wall Street!
Inglorious Basterds. A master class in pure tension.
ZARDOZ. That giant floating head is FREAKY, man!
Star Wars. I was a kid and watching the Imperial destroyer stretch and stretch across the screen was awesome. Easily my favorite moment in a movie theater.
Inglorious Bastards (2009)
Christopher Waltz would’ve received the Oscar from this scene alone
