Gone With the Wind. Katherine Scarlett O’Hara was one tough lady and good, yet at times flawed, role model.

Looking at it from Amazon, Reich’s book seems to advocate the opposite of rugged individualism – making people more civic minded and acting in support of the community.

The book Grit by Angela Duckworth may be closer to what you are looking for.

@LostInParadise Thanks I found Angela Duckworth’s more recent book. Grit: (Vermilion Life Essentials) Paperback Odd it doesn’t give the year. Was before 2018.

An international bestseller and on the NY Times best selling list for a whopping 2 years, Paulo Coelho wrote the best-selling novel, ‘The Alchemist,’ which sold 35 million copies and is the most translated book in the world by a living author. It is destined to be a classic.

Try going to Amazon. You might find what you’re looking for. You also may find it on Ebay as well.
